Quotas and limits
=================

Quotas are applied on volumes, of groups from laboratories and/or teams, not individual users. So, all users of the same group (laboratory or team) share the same *global* quota.

All users of group ''psmn'' share 1 TiB quota (*Size*), and are consuming 343 GiB (*Used*) of it.

.. important::

    * There are no quotas applied to scratch filesystems (``$SCRATCH``),
    * local scratch have a 120 days lifetime residency (automated cleanup),
    * Users have to be careful not to fill the space otherwise jobs will probably crash.
